How to deal with short circuit fault of high-frequency transformer skeleton

Time:2022-12-13 Views:127
High frequency transformer is a power transformer whose working frequency exceeds medium frequency (10kHz). It is mainly used as high frequency switching power transformer in high frequency switching power supply, and also used as high frequency inverter power transformer in high frequency inverter power supply and high frequency inverter welding machine. There are many kinds of high-frequency transformer frameworks, including EE type, EF type, EFD type, PQ, etc. In terms of its specifications, the common ones are 5+5pin and 6+6pin.
The application of high-frequency transformer skeleton is extremely extensive. Transformer is almost used in all electronic products. Its principle is simple, but according to different application occasions (different uses), the winding technology of transformer will have different requirements. How to deal with the short circuit of transformer skeleton. What should be considered first when encountering problems.
First of all, check and experiment after the short circuit of transformer accessories. When the transformer skeleton suffers from sudden short circuit, the most easily deformed windings are low-voltage windings and balance windings, followed by high-voltage windings, iron cores and clamps. Therefore, the inspection after the short circuit of the transformer skeleton is mainly to check the windings, iron cores, clamps and other parts.
1、 Winding inspection and experiment
When the transformer skeleton is short circuited, under the effect of electrodynamic force, the winding is subjected to various forces such as pressure, tension and zigzag, and the defects formed are highly hidden, which is not easy to check and correct. Therefore, the winding situation should be checked after the short circuit fault.
2、 View of iron core and clamp
The iron core of the transformer skeleton shall have the required mechanical strength. The mechanical strength of the iron core is ensured by the strength of all clamping pieces on the iron core and their connectors. When the winding is electrodynamic, the axial force of the winding will be offset by the reaction force of the clamp. If the strength of the clamp and the pulling plate is less than the axial force, the clamp, the pulling plate and the winding will be damaged.
Therefore, carefully check the iron core, clamps, pull plates and their connectors. The transformer skeleton is a device for changing the communication voltage, current and impedance. When the primary coil is connected with the communication current, the communication magnetic flux will occur in the iron core (or magnetic core) to induce voltage (or current) in the secondary coil. The basic principle of transformer skeleton is the principle of electromagnetic induction. Transformer framework --- An electrical appliance that uses electromagnetic induction principle to transmit electric energy or signal from one circuit to another is an important component of electric energy transmission or signal transmission.
